Yan Li, Ph.D.
Executive Director of Scientific Programs
Dr. Yan Li is an Executive Director of Scientific Programs for the Tianqiao Chen & Chrissy Luo (TCCI®). Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Institute’s initiatives and communications with its beneficiary organizations/individuals, Yan works with cornerstone partners and is also building a building a network of young scientists, faculty members and advisors to the Institute.
Dr. Li received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences at Shanghai. She spent six years as a postdoctoral fellow at Profession Fred H. Gage’s lab at the Salk Institute and then moved to Stanford where she worked with Professor Thomas Sudhof and Marius Wernig for two years. Prior to joining Chen Institute, Dr. Li worked at a startup company at Menlo Park, California.
