Brain Signal Engineer/ Scientist
Responsibilities:
- Be the primary architect and analyst of the largest databases of polysomnography (PSG) and invasively collected brain signals (ECoG/SEEG) in the world.
- Work with a technician to set up and organize the databases, and install quality control processes.
- Establish deep learning and other models that can describe brain signals and their relationship to behavior.
- May support development of other databases.
- May help to supervise the work of students or interns.
- May contribute to scientific or other publications.
- Contribute to public relations efforts such as setting up demos or video demonstrations.
- Other related work.
Requirements:
- Master degree (Ph.D. preferred) in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or similar.
- Solid background in EEG/ECoG analytics.
- Strong experience in Matlab and/or Python.
- Preferred: experience with modern ML toolboxes (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch) and modern AI concepts (generative AI).
- Good oral English communication skills; ideally with overseas work experience.
- Eager to learn and strong learning ability.
- Strong team work spirits and communication skill.
